This year we slightly changed the format of the Autumn Lunch by incorporating a short Tour. The details were as follows:
Friday 30th September Dinner Bed and breakfast at the superb five star ‘Menzies Flitwick Manor’.
Saturday 1st October A short drive to Bletchley Park famous home of the codebreakers for a guided tour and a chance to see the Enigma machine. Return to Flitwick Manor in the afternnon for a second night’s Dinner Bed & Breakfast.
Sunday 2nd October A scenic short drive to the Woburn estate driving through the extremely beautiful Deer Park, and visiting the gardens, Antiques centre and Pottery, returning in good time for our traditional Autumn lunch, this year at Flitwick Manor.
The cost of the weekend for two, including both nights’ accommodation at the Menzies Flitwick Manor Hotel, both dinners (excluding wine), afternoon tea on Saturday, the visits to Bletchley and Woburn Deer Park, and the Autumn Lunch on Sunday (including welcome drink), and gratuities, was £615.00.
The Autumn Lunch only on Sunday, including gratuities, was £50.00 per person, or £100 for two. We were blessed with fanatsic weather throughout the duration of this event of which full details and photographs will appear in News & Record Issue no. 35.
