The annual informal buffet Spring Lunch was held once again by kind consent of the Macpherson’s in their 16th Century restored barn at Armsworth Park House, Old Alresford, Hampshire, SO24 9RH immediately following the ‘Mid-week in the Malverns’ tour, on Friday 26th April. Members started arriving from 12.00 noon onwards and it was good to catch up with some who had not joined us on the Malverns trip. As usual there was a spectacular display of Club cars, although there were perhaps too many moderns for the author’s liking!
The lunch was up to its usual high standard and the event was clearly judged to be a great success from the sounds of animated conversation and laughter that was heard throughout the meal.
Our thanks go as ever to Strone and Alex for organising the lunch and allowing us to use their lovely barn.
