Annual General Meeting and Dinner, 2013

The AGM and Dinner together with the giving of prizes was held in the magnificent surroundings of Boodles, 28 St James’s Street London SW1. The black tie evening started at 6.30pm with drinks, followed by the AGM at 7.00pm, at which a report was given of the healthy state of the Club’s finances and increased membership. A discussion was had on the 2013 Events and as our chairman Sir John Stuttard had unfortunately been struck down with influenza his report of the year was presented by Tim Forrest. All Directors were prepared to stand for re-election and were so re-instated.

The meeting being closed we then moved into the dining room for dinner at 7.45pm. After an excellent meal accompanied by fine wines we were honoured by having our new President HRH Prince Richard of Gloucester kindly present the various prizes. Full details and photographs of the evening and the prize giving appear in News & Record No 39.

As usual the evening was splendid and we had an excellent turnout of members – a wonderful way to start the 2013 Club activities.
